* I'm performing with ComedySportz NY!! I LOVE THESE PEOPLE! Shows are on Saturdays at 6pm at the Broadway Comedy Club on West 53rd. Come see a show! You won't be sad you did. But if you are sad after coming to see a show, then obviously you're a Sad Sack and nothing can cheer you up.
I'm always pointing. I'm so rude.
* I'm no longer a television writer/producer and it feels flippin' great. I don't miss it in the slightest. I'm still working in social media and I'm also my nephew Nate's nanny! I think we get along okay...
At least his head isn't 3 sizes bigger than mine... Yet.
* And lastly, in general, I'm doing the best I can. The past 5 years have been.... well... El Craptastic-o, to put it politely. Bad jobs, horrible marriage, crappy timing, untimely deaths and a bunch of disappointments. Needless to say, I'm rebuilding from what feels like scratch. (And can I just say that I thought growing up that when I was finally 30-mumble-years-old that I'd be very set in life and not living like I just got out of college?) I'm re-finding the things that make me happy and doing my best to enjoy the journey, childhood expectations aside.
Hugs! Will blog more soon!
So good to see a blog again!!! :) Can't wait to see you!
ReplyDeleteYay! You're back. I hope you had some much needed time off. Your nephew is absolutely adorable. They are so much fun when they're babies. My nieces and nephews ranges in age from 7 to 19 so no more babies (for a while anyway).
ReplyDeletewelcome back ! You are richer for the expereince, never forget that ... oh and for Nate as well. :-)
ReplyDeletebtw meant to add i love the new layout!
ReplyDeleteMy family has a high funeral count lately so I can commiserate with you on the pile of suck that is grief. But, seeing you stay above par in the chipper dept. despite everything has helped me to be a little less sad sack. I'm glad you are back to blogging- it sure does help the healing process.
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteBec - A high funeral count sucks. It's hard to be happy sometimes because of it. Be sad when you need to be, laugh when you can and let your friends know what you need. I'll be here to help you laugh, okay? :D
Glad you're back blogging and your nephew is sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you here!! You still hold the
ReplyDeletetitle for taking a mediocre show..."Projectrunway" and turning it into the funniest "Blog" ever!"YOU STILL GOTS IT!"
