This blog took me 7 hours to write (what with re-watching the show while blogging and grabbing screen caps and photos). This IS the most you're going to get from me. Sorry that it's not enough.

Zedism - I never insinuated that you were making bacon. :P

Bealsma - I didn't rant about the surrogate thing but I did comment on it! Also, Jason is now gone, so he won't be around for the team challenge and they actually went to Mood this time. I think the annex was just for the first episode since they had soooo little time.Jennifer Eolinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04355725939194563460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389837168568191094.post-31891427447810920842010-08-10T08:11:07.097-04:002010-08-10T08:11:07.097-04:00Again my Tivo has PR Ep. 2 on it but I have yet to...Again my Tivo has PR Ep. 2 on it but I have yet to watch it. That 90 minute run time, which is close to 45 min on the Tivo is just more time than I want to devote to it right now. I will point out that in the picture you posted, Mondo d/n need to worry about making friends and change his pants. Little Mondo and his friends are suffocating. There I said it. WOW! Thank god for stretchable fabric. I am impressed you didn’t rant on the April-Peach-Surrogate-Mother thing….they knew each other what a day, day and a half at the most how can they be that close that quickly?!

As for Jason sounds like we have found our “going to be a problem in a team challenge” participant. I’m also going on a limb saying he’ll work with Mondo or Peach and they will clash and it will be fantastic. The clash mind you not the clothing.

When Mood moved into Parsons and they had a very limited selection I started thinking we might get the same colors over and over again and it looks like this challenge proved I was semi right. I think walking into Mood and being hit with the billions of possibilities added interest to the show. They were blocked for a minute by just all the choices. They RARELY had two outfits with similar fabric you know. Will be an interesting twist to this season.beaslmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07582545436760050027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389837168568191094.post-26567134036554218832010-08-10T00:35:42.422-04:002010-08-10T00:35:42.422-04:00I completely agreed that the winning model was rob...I completely agreed that the winning model was robbed, though clearly Gretchen was thrilled with Coco. I also miss the models' behind-the-scenes bits. It's hard to connect with them when you're just seeing them walk through the room silently. Although I thought Jason's model was militant and seemed like she hated her outfit; I hated her photo.

I thought Valerie should have won.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14123920968850176646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389837168568191094.post-29616747946957486412010-08-09T23:04:19.384-04:002010-08-09T23:04:19.384-04:00First you quote me, then you psychically intuit th...First you quote me, then you psychically intuit that I was cooking bacon sans shirt. (Sunday morning. I do not recommend it. Chest hair does not an apron make.) (speaking of, that would be a good challenge.)

The most interesting thing this week is that Mondo, who's personality is anything but, was the most extroverted of any designer at the photo shoot.

Also, winning model gets gypped and shown up in the span of half an hour.

Side note, has nothing to do with the show, but as I type Michael Jordan's most recent Hanes ad is on and he's sporting a hitler 'stache.Zedismhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11604773677447902156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389837168568191094.post-61413635322166918762010-08-09T17:40:11.915-04:002010-08-09T17:40:11.915-04:00Coco Rocha is a big deal in the modeling industry!...Coco Rocha is a big deal in the modeling industry! Not the models themselves (well some of them) but the fact that the designers do not seem to have any control over what model they have. They have been assigned them for the first challenge before, but shouldn't they get to choose from them on in "model kickball"?? Does this mean poor Peach is just screwed until she is eliminated? And that Jason and Nicholas's models (two of the better ones, IMO) are just out with no hope of being saved by another designer??? If so, why reward the models with anything?

ok... mini rant over. Great blog, once again!Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17654694262410004532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389837168568191094.post-30892894645254295832010-08-09T15:56:37.299-04:002010-08-09T15:56:37.299-04:00I agree with Jason leaving, he didn't respect ...I agree with Jason leaving, he didn't respect the challenge and decided to do whatever he wanted to do. Which may have worked out if he had done it fabulously. I also feel bad about Nicholas. He may have stayed if he had left out the cape or changed the back. The combination killed him.

I did notice Heidi said one or more of you will be eliminated. She said the same thing last week. I think this week it was unnecessary, but I like that the option is there. There were a couple times in previous season that I felt people got away with laziness or ugliness because someone did slightly worse.Gisellenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389837168568191094.post-23385074454851682182010-08-09T14:59:58.777-04:002010-08-09T14:59:58.777-04:00I absolutely loved Andy's design - those sleev...I absolutely loved Andy's design - those sleeves! I was surprised when he was in the middle. Honestly, Valerie's dress did nothing for me.
I do like that they are having more clips in the show with people talking to each other and I didn't guess the outcomes completely based on their lazy editing (I was pretty positive Jason was going home because he sucked so much - and yes douche is a completely accurate description). I didn't watch the models show so I don't miss it and I have to say, I feel like they listened to the complaints and are trying to make changes...I appreciate that. Great blog as usual : )ellanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389837168568191094.post-696735121375259212010-08-09T14:56:19.482-04:002010-08-09T14:56:19.482-04:00Many comments. First off, I really enjoyed Mondo on SYTYCD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vOjrChYDVE

Second off, no mention of STRAIGHT Jason and how STRAIGHT he is and he's a STRAIGHT man in a gay world cuz he's so STRAIGHT??

I liked 90 minutes cuz of the winner's circle room at the end and cuz of a teensy bit more of Tim's workroom 'worried' face and comments, but really I don't like 90 minutes all that much.

On the good, I had no idea who was going, but I did like that they surprised all by kicking off 2, but why Nicholas? I think I liked the surprise twist only and think they did it just for the surprise twist only.

Jason sucks. He's STRAIGHT. Just wanted to mention that again. Because he did, at home, just now, to anyone that might be listening.

I assert that you barely were able to blog this week due to your poopy-sink and other challenges, so as a fan I'm thrilled you made it work, but like Peach we expect more from you next week. Nothing about Casanova's sudden loss of Enlish-speaking ability when he doesn't wanna? He's like any bad guy on COPS, no speakie-de-english when he's being criticized.

Nothing about your jealousy of everyone else and slightly-balding Chriscute?

And how about Gretchen telling Casaboring NOT to use the belt and he goes for it anyway and he's quickly made 'safe,' after all the time they're giving him on the show. That tells us that, aside from Casanova and STRAIGHT Jason, everyone on the show is Boring with a capital B.

Love Peaches, tho. Er, Peach. She's our white female Brown Sugar.

Love that you caught Heidi in those gawdawful shoes and the Marie Claire lady in that gawdawful pair of full capri pants. You're good like that.

Sad that you didn't give STRAIGHT Jason a rash of crap for blaming his MODEL for his look sucking ballz. She's cute, really cute, even tho she really isn't a runway model and her boobs are big and STRAIGHT people love big boobs.

I also liked seeing a 'real' model work a photo shoot with a real photog, rather than the PR models barely moving or doing what the designers mentioned but just barely. Rocha showed the hard movement work real models do without being told.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389837168568191094.post-81236598544821062822010-08-09T14:53:13.406-04:002010-08-09T14:53:13.406-04:00Is it just me or do most of the models suck this s...Is it just me or do most of the models suck this season? They look like they either have bad attitudes or their walk is like something I'd see on ANTM.

And what's up with the ugly shoes? I think my biddiness is shining through, but I don't see how they can be so popular when they tend to make those skinny model legs look like tree trunks (ie: Jason's model and Heidi).

I think A.J. is Jason Mraz's twin. Or is it just me? :)Theresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09471197469029255481noreply@blogger.com
